After a rough ride in the last month and a hefty loss in the previous month, the Pakistani rupee made a comeback in relation to the US dollar last Thursday and the currency grew against the greenback for an eighth time in a row.
The US dollar fell by Rs3.03 (or 1.38 percent, before closing at Rs218.88 on an interbank exchange.
The currency of the local market had traded at Rs 221.91 the day before.
