Former NFL player, Terry Bradshaw is downsizing and is selling his spectacular 744-acre ranch.
74-year-old Steelers former quarterback Bart Starr has put his Quarter House Ranch up for sale with Icon Global Group. The asking price is $22.5 million.
The equestrian and cattle ranch is located 70 miles from downtown Dallas and boasts six bedrooms within the 8,600-square-foot main house. A 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio features a pool, full kitchen, and bar with a fireplace and hot sauna. This makes it an ideal place for entertaining.
In a statement released by Icon Group owner, Bernard Uechtritz claimed that the ranch was built “from raw land and the group up by Terry”.
Uechtritz emphasized that it is not simply a case of reproducing someone else’s product and claiming ownership. He said one could consider it the “actual finished artwork and product of one man’s vision, work, and patience.”
This company has recently made improvements to its comparably sized equestrian and quarter-house operations, including a 12-stall stallion barn, a 20-stall show barn, a 20-stall weanling barn, and a 50-stall mare barn.
Also on the grounds is a sprawling farm with numerous dedicated animal pens and a show stand pig barn. There is a two-story stone doghouse for Bradshaw’s dogs.
Price Of Ranch in 2014
The Bradshaw family first tried to sell the property in 2014 for $10.8 million. Citing a desire to buy something smaller, and later pulled the property from sale until 2016 before changing their mind. Icon Global claims the Bradshaws have been “inspired by newfound interest” in selling the property. They are now committed to selling it off as they settled down on a smaller farm in Texas.
The Bradshaw family home may be recognized by some as they appeared on E!’s docu-series, The Bradshaw Bunch, which provided viewers with an inside look into the football icon’s family life.
Bradshaw noted that winning four Super Bowls was easy but having three girls as a family to be surprised by is nothing,” stated Bradshaw in a statement.
The second season of show found him renewing his vows with his fourth wife, Tammy, on a trip to Hawaii. Bradshaw and his two daughters, Rachel and Erin were included in the ceremony last time. He included his stepdaughter Lacey once more.
Erin told her dad during the episode that it hurt her feelings not to be included the first time.
Terry responded the closest part of my world is my family, two girls, a stepdaughter, two sons-in-law, and grandchildren.
Bradshaw was a four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers and is also a two-time Super Bowl MVP and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. He was the first NFL player with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
