Pakistan captain Babar Azam managed to retain his position as the number one player in the most recent International Cricket Council (ICC) T20I batting rankings, while Indian players took huge leaps.

In the latest rankings that were released Wednesday India’s Shreyas Iyer as well as Rishabh Pant were two of the top movers as the battle for the top spot gets heated in the lead up to the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in the coming months.
